Donna Ambler brings 20 years of experience in journalism and public relations to The Verb Garden and an extensive background in writing copy to meet the needs of a target audience, as well as identifying the communication needs of stakeholders and potential markets.

With a Bachelor of Arts (Communication - Print Journalism), Donna has experience that includes editorial and advertorial writing for local, regional, suburban and metropolitan newspapers, particularly in the suburbs of Sydney.  She has also worked in public relations, communication and policy development roles with local and state government in Sydney and regional NSW, as well as gaining experience in the corporate environment in Sydney and the United Kingdom. She also has a Master of Arts in Organisational Communication from CSU.

With experience including event management that requires a high level of coordination and planning, Donna is renowned for the high quality of her work, attention to detail and for producing results on time and in keeping with requirements.

Donna has been responsible for writing and coordinating the production of annual reports for several organisations and has written everything from media releases and promotional documents to speeches, advertising copy, proclamations, testimonials, policy documents and board reports.  She also spent two years as a Director on the Board of Dubbo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc (Visit Site), as well as being Chamber's media officer and chair of the Rhino Awards organising committee.
